MDM / MAM – Mobile Device & Application Management
MDM and MAM – these two terms go hand in hand. They refer to the management of mobile devices and mobile applications. (Written out, the terms are “Mobile Device Management” and “Mobile Application Management”). Mobile devices often already play a greater role than desktop computers. MDM briefly explained:

From a data protection perspective, data exchange via applications can be restricted or even shut down completely. All of this is in the hands of the administrator.
