ISO 27001 · Microsoft Solutions Partner

New Media Service GmbH is an owner-managed IT systems house based in the Hegau Tower in Singen. For over a decade, we have been supporting businesses ranging from regional SMEs to international enterprise environments, including DAX-listed corporations, with one standard: IT that runs reliably and measurably reduces your workload.

What sets NMS apart

  • Enterprise-proven: IT consulting and operations in environments with up to 50,000 users; Microsoft 365 implementations, IT transitions, migrations, server administration and operational support.

  • Certified: Information security in accordance with ISO 27001, Microsoft Solution Partner, ITIL- and PRINCE2-certified professionals.

  • Responsibility instead of passing tickets on: Dedicated contact persons, short lines of communication and a team that solves problems instead of managing them, as can be read in our references.

  • Award-winning employer: kununu Top Company 2025; stable teams mean stable support.

Executive Management

Jan Emmerich (Founder and Managing Director) and Daniel Penninger (Managing Director) lead NMS personally, from the initial consultation to project responsibility.

How to recognise the right IT service provider

This question can be answered without talking about NMS at all. Six points help make offers comparable in practice: apply them to any provider, including us.

  • Who talks to you? Is there someone in the first conversation who understands the technology, or does sales come first and a different team later? Whoever implements it should have listened beforehand.
  • What happens before the quote? A reliable quote requires that someone has looked at what you already run. Ask what a figure is based on when it arrives without an inventory.
  • How is it documented? Ask what you will hold in your hands at the end. An environment without documentation ties you to whoever built it.
  • What applies when something fails? Availability, response times and escalation paths belong in writing: before the first outage, not after.
  • What about evidence? Certifications say nothing about rapport, but a lot about audited processes. An information security management system to ISO 27001 can be shown; whoever holds one works to documented rules.
  • Does the capacity fit? Clarify who steps in when your contact is unavailable, and how a client of your size sits within the provider’s portfolio. Both say more about actual attention than headcount does.

A seventh point is deliberately missing from the list because it cannot be verified: does anyone tell you what they cannot do? Someone with a yes for every question either runs a very broad practice, or did not understand the question.

We are ISO 27001 certified and a Microsoft Solutions Partner with the Modern Work designation. What we actually do is under solutions; some of our clients we name publicly. A first conversation costs you nothing: talk to us.

The next step

Whether it is a specific project or an open question: a non-binding initial consultation shows whether it is a fit, both professionally and personally. Careers at NMS is, by the way, also well worth a mission.
